BioWorld Odor Control uses a combination of the best available product formulations and equipment for eliminating virtually any odor. BioWorld makes three unique products that are very effective in controlling odors:
BioWorld Odor Neutralizer - Commercial Concentrate (BON-CC-41)
BON-CC-41 can be added as a concentrate to paint, chemicals and wastewater or diluted and used in foggers or industrial misting systems. BioWorld has a variety of handheld foggers, drum mounted foggers and an industrial fogging system available to treat odors in the air.
BioWorld Odor Neutralizer - Concentrate with Mild Sanitizer (BON-SA-45)
BON-SA-45 contains the same odor neutralizing tecnology as commercial concentrate but also contains liquid sanitizer. This formulation makes it easy for application around the house or at the office. Simply spray the product into the air or use it to clean surfaces for an odor free environment.
BioWorld Liquid Optimizer Plus
Liquid Optimizer Plus contains bioenhancement liquid substrates with added odor neutralizing compounds. Optimizer Plus can be sprayed onto organic waste or added to wastewater to accelerate organic waste degradation and eliminate odors at the same time.

Examples of Chemical Odor Causing Molecules
Smell is a very direct sense. In order for you to smell something, molecules from the smell have to make it to your nose. Everything you smell is giving off molecules. Those molecules are generally light, volatile (easy to evaporate) chemicals that float through the air into your nose.

BON is naturally formulated to be like tiny magnets to every molecule humans can smell. BON contains long chains of molecules that are charged to allow the odor causing molecules to attach themselves to it.
Odor Molecules Drop Out Where BON is Applied
Once BON is atomized into the air or surface, the odor causing molecules connect and become heavier than the air around them; gravity then takes over and pulls the molecules out of the air and to the ground. Project Situation
A paint manufacturer sought out environmentally friendly additives for odor reduction in a new low odor, low VOC paint formulation. BioWorld was contacted to provide BioWorld Odor Neutralizer (BON) for research and development to meet the Green Seal Standard for Paints. An indepth evaluation was completed on BON as an ingredient into the new formulation.

Results
The new environmentally friendly paint containing BON received Green Seal certification and production was scaled up. The paint was also tested and certified to meet State of California regulations regarding low VOC emissions and indoor air quality. The paint manufacturer is one of only two manufacturers receiving compliant materials listing related to the Collaborative for High Performance. BON continues to be used as a
key component in the formulation.
Project Situation
A US naval station in California had petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil which required excavation. The concern was odor complaints from the nearby residents during the excavation. BioWorld was contacted by an engineering company regarding odor control. BioWorld Odor Neutralizer was purchased and applied to the sidewalls and exposed groundwater surfaces of two excavation pits.

Results
After BioWorld odor treatment was initiated, there were no complaints from neighbors in the vicinity of the project.
Project Situation
A skunk became trapped beneath a building at a school district facility in California. While the skunk was trapped, other skunks marked the perimeter of the building. The trapped skunk was rescued on a Thursday leaving behind significant odors. The Maintenance and Operations Manager located BioWorld via the internet, called for information, and requested overnight delivery of the BioWorld Odor Neutralizer (BON) and a fogging unit. On Saturday (2 days later), diluted BON was fogged beneath the building and sprayed around the perimeter of the building. Another treatment was completed on Monday evening.

Results
After the two product applications, the skunk odors were completely eliminated from the building. School District personnel were very appreciative of BioWorld’s prompt response and ability to solve the skunk odor problem.
Project Situation
A municipal wastewater treatment facility in Missouri was experiencing odor problems from several lift stations. Several drum mounted micro jet fogger units were purchased, mounted on 55 gallon drums containing diluted BioWorld Odor Neutralizer and placed adjacent to the lift stations.

Results
The odors were completely eliminated. On-going treatment has controlled the lift station odors emanating from the facility.
Project Situation
A major oil company in the Gulf Coast was preparing to perform hydro blast cleaning of product and vent lines. Their concern was strong mercaptan odors escaping during the cleaning process. BioWorld was contacted on a Thursday morning to provide a solution for the strong odor. Later that same day, 120 gallons of BON-CC-41 concentrate was
shipped by overnight delivery. The products arrived on Friday, in time for the scheduled cleaning to begin on Saturday.

Results
BON CC-41 was added into the hydro blast water and used on the smelliest vent lines. Both the cleaning contractor personnel and oil company personnel were very surprised by how well small amounts of BON CC-41 worked in controlling the mercaptan odors. Workers continued to add BON CC-41 into the hydro blast water until the vent line cleaning process was completed.
