BioWorld Algae Treatment is a powerful and safe package as a 2-part unit product (liquid and dry) consisting of the following:

1. Bioenhancement - Liquid Optimizer formulation which maximizes the ability of microbes to reproduce and thrive in a water system; and
2. Bioaugmentation - Algae Competitor Microbes which out compete algae for available nutrients and digest organic debris in the water.

Both components are concentrated to the fullest extent possible.

BioWorld Algae Treatment is designed to efficiently metabolize certain forms of nitrogen and phosphorus in water - essentially robbing these major nutrients from simple plant life without affecting the desired plants and animals in the water. BioWorld suggests treating a pond, lake, or irrigation system with BioWorld Algae Treatment on a weekly basis. When the algae is under control, both the rates and frequency of treatments can be decreased. BioWorld is the long term solution to balancing the ecosystem in your pond, lake, or water feature. BioWorld is non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable and non-pathogenic.

In 4 to 6 weeks, discoloration and thinning of the algae is apparent, digestion of organic matter is underway and the water clarity improves. This is caused by the weakening and rupturing algae cell walls from the lack of the key, algae-specific nutrients needed for algae to survive. The green or golden algae cells will turn brown and either float to the surface, stay suspended in the water, or sink to the bottom of the water column.

At this point, other components of the BioWorld technology consume or degrade the cell residues and clear the debris, including dead algae, leaves, grass, and other organic material, throughout the water. The result is beautifully clear water, free from any visible algae. Once the pond, lake or water feature is safely cleared of algae, fish populations and other wildlife will flourish and enjoy clear, balanced water.

Easy to apply

The 2-part, algae control product is very easy to apply. General application is 2 gallons Liquid Optimizer and 2 x 1/2 lb units Algae Microbes per surface acre per week. For severe algae, initially treat twice per week for several weeks until algae lessens - then repeat treatment weekly throughout the algae bloom season, adjusting the amount of products as algae growth dictates. BioWorld Algae Control is safe for wildlife, even when large amounts are applied.

Preparing Microbe Solution

1. In a 5 to 6 gallon bucket, add the specified amount of BioWorld Algae Microbes to several gallons of 100° - 105° F warm water. The result is a brownish solution of microorganisms which are transitioning from their dormant state.
2. Mix vigorously and let stand uncovered for 5-10 minutes to reactivate the microbes while stirring periodically. Use the microbe solution within 4 hours and keep unsealed.

Preparing Optimizer Solution (Blue Liquid)

1. Pour specified amount of BioWorld Liquid Optimizer into a 5 or 6 gallon bucket (separate from the microbe bucket). Water can be added for easier dispensing so that both Microbe and Optimizer buckets contain equal amounts of liquid.

Application Procedure

1. From the reservoir bank, pond edge or boat, broadcast or sling a small amount (approximately 8 to 32 ounces) of the Liquid Optimizer (blue liquid) directly onto the reservoir surface.
2. In the same location where the Liquid Optimizer was introduced, broadcast or sling a small amount (approximately 8 to 32 ounces) Microbe Solution (brownish liquid). Stir the microbe solution occasionally to keep the solids suspended.
3. Repeat until both products are completely used.

BioWorld Algae Treatment and BioWorld Green Water Treatment use a unique combination of bioenhancement compounds and mature strains of selected, naturally occurring microorganisms for the safe and natural treatment of algae.

1. Bioenhancement - The special Liquid Optimizer formulation maximizes the ability of the microbes to reproduce and thrive in the water system.
2. Bioaugmentation - Algae Competitor Microbes or Green Water Microbes consist of various microbial strains that out compete algae for the nutrients in the water. The microbes also produce enzymes that break down algae cell walls leaving other life forms unharmed. BioWorld Algae Treatment is environmentally safe, non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-flammable, and non pathogenic.
